Summary
- 97.8% of old pairs give a new child
- 7 Pals lost every other parent pair (23 self-only in total)
- 72 Pals new in 1.0
Datamined codeDerived from the game code, not from a data table. The main reason: 1.0 put every Pal on a new breeding power scale. How the rule works now: how breeding works.
How we compared
We ran every pair of the 216 Pals in both versions through the 0.7.3 data and the current data, with the same child rules. The pipeline gets the same count on its own (22,929 of 23,436 pairs, 97.8%).
Before 1.0 the breeding power of these Pals ran from 1 to 1,500; now they run from 50 to 3,080. New Pals sit in between.
The 1.0 changelog says the combinations were reviewed to match game progression, without listing them.

A mutated egg hatches a stronger Pal picked by a separate formula. 0.7.3 had no mutations.
The new cakes: Mushroom Cake, Vegetable Cake, Extravagant Vegetable Cake, Special Cake. What each cake does.
The condenser needed 116 extra copies in 0.7.3.
