Patch notes
Our summary of the official notes. Only items that touch Pals, breeding, eggs, passives or spawns are listed one by one.
- Added 72 Pals (47 new species and 25 variants), for 287 in total according to the notes.
- Added mutation: a bred egg has a small chance to hatch a stronger Pal than the normal result, with higher stats and a passive of its own.
- Added four cakes: one raises the chance of higher stats, one gives two eggs at once, one raises the mutation chance and stat growth, and one raises the chance of inheriting several passives.
- Breeding combinations were reviewed across the board to fit game progression.
- Active skills a child inherits are now drawn at random from the three skill slots set on the parents.
- Incubation time is halved in newly created Normal and Hard worlds.
- Condensing a Pal to the maximum rank now takes 48 Pals in total instead of 116.
- The Nocturnal passive was renamed Insomnia.
Also new: Sunreach, the World Tree, Awakening, reworked partner skills for over 200 Pals, new passive skills and a broad combat rebalance.

- This is the first 1.0 build we have. Against the 0.7.3 data, 22,929 of 23,436 parent pairs (97.8%) now hatch a different Pal.
- 7 special combos were removed and 25 added. Details: 1.0 breeding changes.
- 72 obtainable Pals are new in 1.0: the full list.
